God, I really suck at this.

So I realize forever ago, I promised to get some art up, but really, life is just beyond hectic. This summer, I worked... and then I accidentally fried my laptop. So I had to get a new one, which is, by the way, an AMAZING laptop... but the problem is that my Adobe doesn't work on the new laptop because it's a VISTA, not an XP and Elements 2.0 does NOT work on VISTA. So that sucked... but just recently, I downloaded a trial of 6.0, and I seem to have the basic jist of that one. It'll be OK

I DO have a piece to upload, though.

One that took a while, once I actually got to coloring it. I had sketched it months ago, and perfected the sketch, and scanned it on my mom's PC. Then I had the laptop issues, but I finished it. WOOHOO! All done! HOWEVER, I can't upload that one yet. It's my mother's Christmas present, and I don't want her to run across it in any way, shape, or form. It's VERY special. I seriously adore it :} SO. After Christmas, DO expect a piece to pop up :} I DO NOT JERK YOUR CHAIN! Yaaaay I tried to make it look like a photo, like, really, really bad. And I fucked up on the glasses really bad, but it'll be alright. It's decent... and looking at it now, I realize what I need to fix on it. IE: The hair doesn't have enough highlights, the eyelids are a little off, the glasses are too bright, I totally forgot to color my shirt, etc. But it's very special, so even if there ARE [minute] flaws, it's still absolutely amazing.

Uhm... I'ma purchase a copy of this program and learn it before I work on a lot else. This one was really weird to do on a new program: I'm not sure if I like using this new program... But, hey, I started learning new techniques for what I do, because it's all moved around different and whatnot. It's almost the exact same thing, I realize that, but any slight difference is huge for me, lol.

So, expect art. Not lying this time :} 100% on the ball!
